Dali
Items: 4 Potions, Eye Drops, Antidote, Ether, Phoenix Down, Phoenix Pinion, Iron Helm, Leather Wrist.

Upon entering the village of Dali the crew will rest at the inn. When Zidane wakes up he’s alone. Be sure to search the room for Potion and an Antidote. There’s also a fortune teller on the dresser that will assign you a lucky color for 10 gil.

Speak to Gumo the moogle in the lobby. You should have a letter for him from Mois.

Across the way is Eve’s weapon shop. You can pick up some spare gil outside. After you’re done shopping here go check out the windmill. Vivi’s outside here. Make sure to search inside the windmill. In the back is an Aries Stellazio. Up top are two chests you can’t get during this trip to Dali.

The building to the right is a tavern where you can buy medicine. When you’re done exploring head back to the inn and talk to Dagger. Save your game and head back to the windmill. After talking to Vivi through the pipe go into the windmill. The boy standing guard should be gone and now you can go down the hatch.

Climb down the ladder and use the lift to go all the way down. There’s a chest at the bottom with 156 gil. Go ahead to the next area.

Inside the hut is a chest with a Potion. Down at the bottom is a chest with Eye Drops. When you’re done here follow the men and Vivi.

In this room kick the lever in the back to drop a chest with a Potion. Hop up to the other chest for an Ether. In the barrel is Kumop; he’ll have a letter for you to Mogki. You’ll also definitely want to save.

In the next room are a lot of crates. The chest on top of the crates contains an Iron Helm. In the middle below is a Leather Wrist.

In the next room you’ll rescue Vivi and decide to press on. The chest here has 95 gil. Opening the double doors will release mist and monsters into the area but there are some good items in there. The first chest in here has a Phoenix Down. The next one has a Potion. Lastly, the good item – search around that last chest a little more to find a Phoenix Pinion (trust me, they’re very helpful later on).

Go into the next area and proceed past the conveyor belt. Prepare yourself before entering the next area because it leads directly into a boss battle.

Black Waltz 2
HP: 1030 AP: 5
Vulnerability: Blizzard
Steal Items: Steepled Hat, Leather Plate Dropped Items: Ether, Zaghnol Card

You’ll want to use exclusively Blizzard magic on this Waltz because he has a cruel counter-attack for any other magic. Start out with Dagger casting Protect on your party and then have her cure anyone who gets wounded. Make sure to have Zidane steal.

After the boss battle make sure to rest at the inn and save your game because you’re headed directly into another boss battle.

Cargo Airship

When you’re ready choose to board the airship. When you get control of Zidane again head upstairs and talk to Steiner. Then run into the pilot box.

Black Waltz 3
HP: 1128 AP: N/A
Vulnerability: Thunder
Steal Items: Steepled Hat, Linen Cuirass, Silver Gloves Dropped Items: None

Vivi will trance immediately making this battle much easier. Use Dbl Blk Thunder on the malicious Waltz. But temper your fury a bit so that Zidane can steal items from the boss. He’ll run off before you kill him so you don’t get AP or items from the battle.

After the boss battle you’ll end up in Lindblum.
