Four young children were playing in a small cave near their village when the floor suddenly gave way and they found themselves in a large cavern. Working their way through the darkness, they stumble across a large chamber with a brilliant crystal floating in the center.

The crystal speaks to them and tells them of the impending doom facing their home. The four children accept the crystal's calling and become the Light Warriors; destined to save the planet from the overwhelming forces from the Dark World.
