After entering you’ll want to move quickly into the building. This outer area is full of Garudas waiting to attack you so move quickly. Once inside you’ll meet up with the Bishop. After your talk with him go right.

Run around behind the circular desk here and find the chest for a Wing Edge. You can talk to the lady at the counter to check out the shop’s inventory. Once you’re ready go back to the entryway. There are now lots of people here you can talk to. When you’re ready exit at the top of the screen. Here talk to Mogrika. She’ll have a letter to read. She’ll also ask you to deliver a letter to Moolan. You can examine the Shimmering Island on the upper platform. Then go right.

Go through the next area. Enter the doors at the top.

Mount Gulug

Enter the building on the left. In the corner you’ll find 9793 gil. Examine the left wall to read the bulletin. Now climb the ladder. Exit to the left.

Climb down the ladder here. Search the corner of the platform for a Red Hat. Now return to the entrance and go right. Go through this room to the right. Cross to the far right of the platform and jump up to the pathway. Go through the door on the right.

Open the chest in this area for a Golden Hairpin and examine the corner to read the bulletin. Then go back to the rop and go down. At the bottom go right. In this shack talk to Moolan. You have a letter for him. He’ll also ask you to deliver a letter to Mogtaka. Then search the bottom right-hand corner for a Wing Edge. Then head right and go through the door.

Go around and up the stairs here. Examine the corner to read another bulletin. Go left and up the stairs then left again. At the end of the walkway you’ll find Gaia Gear. Now go back and go to leave. You’ll get attacked by two red dragons. They attack with wind so protect yourself accordingly (having the Octagon Rod on Vivi is very nice – it absorbs wind). After the battle go back to the well and left this time. Go into the building. Go up the stairs and talk to Mogtaka. Give Mogtaka the letter and save your game. Continue up the stairs. At the top enter the shack to fight another red dragon. At the far and of the room you’ll find an Elixir. When you’re ready head back to the well.

Here pull the lever down 3 times and slide to the bottom. You’ll fight two more red dragons. After the fight heal your party and step through the opening to trigger a long sequence followed by your rescue of Eiko.

Start this battle out with everybody equipped with Antibody. You’ll definitely want to steal from the boss. Make sure to equip Zidane with Bandit so you can get the Demon’s Vest. When the Gemini attack you with virus powder quickly give vaccines to everybody. If you end a battle with a vaccine on someone they’ll loose all experience from the battle. If possible have Eiko cast Mini on the boss to increase the damage your party deals. If you’ve been stealing then Zidane should trace and use his Grand Lethal to finish the boss off.

After the battle and some scenes you’ll end up back in Lindblum. Before going to the conference room speak to Mogki the moogle, who has a letter for you to deliver to Kumool. Afterwards head to the conference room where you’ll form a plan to go to Ipsen’s Castle to find out how to follow Kuja.

Afterwards you’ll discover that Dagger isn’t in Lindblum and Zidane rushes off to Alexandria to find her. Here Zidane meets up with Beatrix who gives him a Garnet for Dagger. He finds her shortly afterwards. Eventually you’ll get control of the magnificent Hilde Garde 3.
