Alexandria Pt.2

Back in Alexandria Dagger is forced to prepare her city for battle. To give the correct orders you’ll want to assign jobs as follows:

As a reward for giving the orders correctly you’ll receive the Angel Earrings. If you didn’t give the orders correctly you’ll only get an Ether.

Now with Steiner and Beatrix clear the city of Mistodons. After that you’ll be back with Dagger. Lead her upstairs to the third floor. Then in the door there take the door on the left. Climb the stairs until you loose control of Dagger.

After the cinema Zidane and the crew will arrive at the castle. Ultimately you’ll want to go upstairs where Dagger went. However, you can also clear out the castle and fight an optional boss in the left library.

To get the optional boss go into the left library and examine the bottom bookshelf. When you hear a voice, answer it with a challenge.

Before going into this battle you’ll want to equip everyone with Antibody, Auto-Potion, and if possible Auto-Regen. Make sure Amarant has the Spare Change ability, which he learns from Poison Knuckles. Also make sure Zidane has Bandit equipped. This boss has two forms. It starts out in book form. You’ll need to attack the book to cause between 150 and 200 damage so that it will reveal its true form. The true form only casts Poison on your characters and will do no damage if you have Antibody on everyone. While it’s in this form don’t physically attack it. Have Vivi use Bio and use abilities like Lancer, Thievery, and Spare Change. Eventually the boss will revert back to book form so you’ll need to damage it for 150-200 again. Repeat this until you win the battle. Also, be careful of the Tantarian’s Paper Storm attack, which deals big damage to all your party members.
