Oeilvert

After the Hilde Garde drops you off head south into the canyon. Follow it right then left back into the mountains. This is the Seaways Canyon. Follow it around to the right. It will zig zag around for a bit and you’ll come to a green open area. Go around the mountain to the left and you’ll be in a tight spiral canyon that should take you straight to Oeilvert.

Upon entering you’ll come upon Mimoza the moogle, who runs a mogshop. Mimoza also wants you to deliver a letter to Mooel. When you’re ready run up to the entrance. The large doors will open on their own and you’ll be in Oeilvert. In this first area get the desk under the stairs for a Remedy. Up the stairs is a chest with a Rising Sun. Now go left through the door.

Examine the blue globe and it will turn red. Behind it is a chest containing an Elixir. Now go back downstairs and exit through the left doorway.

There is a chest with a Diamond Sword on the bottom right. Proceed around the center area to prompt a short scene. The chest on the other side contains Shield Armor. Go through the exit at the bottom of the screen.

There are 4 projectors in this room that you’ll need to examine in the correct order. Head up the stairs and start with the top left projector and examine them counterclockwise. You should end up at the one nearest the door. The chest at the bottom of the stairs contains a Power Vest and the chest at the top contains Feather Boots. After the slideshow take the top exit.

Cross this bridge. In the center examine the globe to get another slide presentation. Continue along the other arch of the bridge. You’ll be back in the room with the large globe. Go through the left door.

Here you’ll have a short scene where a few more clues are given to you about Terra. Head back to the first screen and go right.

At the back of this room you’ll find Mooel the moogle who you should have a letter for. You might also get a Kupo Nut for the delivery. Save your game and proceed right. One final hologram will appear. Get the chest at the back of the room for Gaia Gear.

Now go out on the right. In this room examine the platform. You’ll spiral down and at the bottom go and examine the altar.

You absolutely want to come into this battle with Clear Headed equipped on everyone. Have Freya cast Reis’s Wind right away and make sure that everyone has Regen all the time. Amarant can use his Chakra ability for healing purposes as well. Make sure Zidane steals. The Holy Lance is incredibly difficult to steal so it helps, as always, to have the Bandit ability equipped. If Ark uses its Photon attack don’t be afraid to use an Elixir. Other than that attack with everything you’ve got and if Zidane trances (he probably will if you’ve been trying to steal) use his Grand Lethal Dyne to wipe out Ark.

After the battle take the Gulug Stone from the altar and you’ll be taken into the next section of the game.
