Treno

Upon entering Treno everybody goes their separate ways and Steiner is left on his own. You’ll immediately have access to a series of ATE’s. During one Dagger will get robbed. If you hit the X button as soon as the exclamation point appears above her head you’ll only lose 500 gil instead of 1,000 gil. Go over to the fountain on this first screen and throw in gil 13 times to get the Gemini Stellazio. Next go left. On this screen go to the far left to open a chest and get a Mythril Dagger. Then go to where Dagger was robbed and go down the stairs here.

You’ll now be in the Treno Café area. To get a special item go into the building on this screen and have Steiner talk to the man who robbed Dagger. He’ll get scared and give you a Power Belt. Down the hall is the synthesis shop.

Back in the Café area go up. If you enter the building here you’ll meet the queen. She will gladly give you items and gil for the stellazio’s you’ve been collecting. For more info about the Stellazio’s click Here.

If you go down from the café you’ll come to the Treno card stadium. Go right out of this screen and you’ll end up on a walkway that branches right and left. To left for now. Talk with Mogrich the moogle, who’s being chased by the dog. He should have a letter from Stiltzkin. If you enter the building right here you’ll be inside the weapons shop. Here you’ll have the opportunity to fight a monster in the cage below you. Right now there is a Griffin in the cage. To win this battle make sure Steiner is equipped with Bronze Armor, the Bird Killer ability, and the Blood Sword (which you get from the stellazio sidequest). You’ll get a Tonberry card for winning.

After you’re ready to move on go left from where Mogrich is. This is the Treno auction house. You’ll find Dagger here. After you have her back go and take the right branch of the pathway after the card stadium. Go past the drunkard here and go down. Go down the ladder to the right here. Open the chests for a Yeti card and 1 gil. There’s an item shop here if you’re running low on anything. Also, search behind the shop for the Taurus Stellazio.

When you’re done here climb back up and enter the Inn on the left. If you talk to the man on the left he’ll let you rest for 100 gil. Go down the stairs and talk to Marcus. There are no items here so proceed along the platforms down to Baku. Speak to him to initiate a long scene where the group attempts to steal Supersoft.

When you’ve got control of Dagger again go back out of the Inn and down – you’ll be back at the entrance to Treno. Go left twice and climb up Doctor Tot’s tower. He’ll give Marcus the Supersoft. Speak to Tot again for a geography lesson. He’ll also open up a way for you to get to Alexandria. Follow him up and go down the hatch.

Gargan Roo

After Tot explains your first task here speak to Mochos the moogle. You should have a letter for him from Nazna. Now go left. The chests here contain a Chain Plate and a Phoenix Down. Flip the switch to the left and head back to the area where Tot is. Now go to the right. In this area go right again. Pull the lever here to call the gargant.

Now go back and to the left and push the button marked feed. The crew will board and start towards Alexandria, although you’ll be delayed by a boss along the way.

Before going into this battle you’ll want to equip Antibody on Steiner and Dagger. Dagger can cast Protect and heal as needed. If you’ve got the Multina Racket on her, she can also do some damage. Have Marcus steal every round and have Steiner attack.

After the party arrives in Alexandria they are captured by Zorn & Thorn. Now our story returns to Zidane and crew in Burmecia. They’ll need to enter the sandstorm in the desert to the east.
