Yaschas Massif - 01XAF

Side Notes

There really aren't a lot of side-notes for this area. If you're interested in a side location you can use a Wild Artefact on the gate to the west to travel to Augusta Tower 300AF and get a jump on that location's objectives. However, this is one Wild Artefact location that you are required to go to as part of the main storyline.

Most of the monsters in this area aren't of great note. The Gandayaks and Gahongas are annoying as they come in a pair and interrupt your attacks frequently. They also have a high spawn rate so if you're up for a beating you can try and recruit them for a Commando and a Synergist respectively. Also of note is the rare-class monster Narasimha. This is a Behemoth monster that is slightly more difficult than the Feral Behemoths of 010AF. These monsters transform half-way through the battle and replenish their HP. Use of Delta Attack (pre-transform) and Solidarity (post-transform) is advised.
