Side Notes

There's not much in the way of side notes for this area. There are two monsters of note. You can hunt down the Spiranthes enemy who has a high acquisition rate. This enemy has the Item Collector ability which can help in obtaining loot drops if you have it in your party.

Also, as we mentioned earlier, the Feral Behemoth can be a nice farming resource if you've got the strength to defeat it. It has a 100% appearance rate if you stick to the dark areas on the Pass of Padra. It is the best way to obtain Slivers (a level 2 monster material) at this point in the game. In most 5 star battles you'll get between 2-5 Slivers with a couple of them being the Potent variety. You'll also get a healthy 300 CP per battle. Although you'll get better Sliver farming opportunities in the Sunleth Waterscape, this is a good opportunity to get ahead of the game. As an added bonus, if you're fighting a lot of Behemoths, chances are you'll get the Behemoth monster crystal which will be your best Commando up to this point.
