Lightning - Amodar

This fight is the most straight forward and easiest of the DLC battles. The fight starts against Lightning alone. Stagger her quickly and beat her up to begin the real fight when Amodar shows up. The battle resets at that point. Which monster crystal is dropped at the end depends upon which monster you defeat last. That last monster is the one with the chance to drop so if you want Lightning's crystal you'll have to get rid of Amodar first. This battle is an easy 5 stars with the set up we recommend. We suggest for your monster pack a Commando, Ravager, and a Sentinel.

PARADIGM NOEL SERAH MONSTER
Cerberus COM COM COM
Tri-disaster RAV RAV RAV
Mystic Tower RAV RAV SEN
Smart Bomb RAV SABRAV
Combat Clinic MED MED SEN
  • Stagger and pummel Lightning in the opening to move on to the real battle. The battle resets with Amodar's arrival.
  • Decide which monster crystal you are aiming for. This determines who you remove first.
  • If you are killing Amodar first use Smart Bomb until he is Imperiled. Then use Mystic Tower to stagger him while mitigating the combined assault. Once he staggers finish him off in Cerberus. If your party isn't strong enough to defeat him in one stagger consider adding the Relentless Assault Paradigm to ensure all your characters attack your target.
  • If you are killing Lightning first use Tri-disaster or Mystic Tower. She is immune to most status ailments so Smart Bomb will not help. Once staggered she is the same as Amodar with Cerberus wiping her out.
  • Any time your life dips too low switch to Combat Clinic.
  • Once one is defeated the other will Limit Break and become more difficult. Amodar's Iron Bear Strike may one-hit-KO a party member. Ignore any buffs that either character place upon themselves. Amodar can still be imperiled if he is your last fight. Simply Stagger using any of the Ravager combinations and defeat with Cerberus.
