Aggra's Pasture, an area only accessible by Chocobo, will initiate this sidequest with a short cutscene when you inspect the full grown sheep. Throughout the Achylte Steppe sheep are scattered. Sometimes it is necessary to change the weather to make them appear. This can be done by activating any of the Ci'eth stones forming a circle in the Eastern Tors. The sheep appearances are random and re-entering an area may help in locating them. When close enough in an area to one they will appear on your map as a mark of interest.

Four additional encounters are:
- On small islands in southeastern pond
- Top of hill southwest of pond
- Near Aggra's Trough entrance on the right side
- Inside far north building of Haerii Archaeopolis

The rewards for finding the grown sheep are: Thick Wool, Fluffy Wool, Rough Wool, or Scraggly Wool components.
