Rabanastre 2

As soon as you enter Rabanstre, Fran and Balthier will leave your party, you will aslo see a moogle called Hurdy opposite the Chocobo Ranch, Hurdy will open up a free Teleportation Service which instantly teleports you to the other Moogle Teleportation Stations around Rabanastre.

The First thng you need to do is to go to Migelo's Sundries and talk to Kytes. You can either walk to the East End part of Rabanstre or Teleport to the sandsea and head south. When you reach Migelo's shop Kytes will tell you that Dalan wanted him to run an errand but he is stuck minding the shop for Migelo and asks you to tell Old Dalan.

Your next destination is of course Old Dalan's House in Lowtown, again you can either find your way down by walking or go to the Teleportation service outside the sand sea and teleport to the South Gate and use the Port-hole to the Lowtown, you should appear with dalan's House just a few steps ahead to the left.

Old dalan will give you the Sword of the Order and ask you to take it to Azelas in the north-west of the lowtown map, when you arrive Talk to the Rabanastran sitting on the crate, this is Balzac, there will be a cutscene after it Basch will join your Party permanently.

Now that Basch is in your party you should spend his LP and check his equipment. You now need to head back up to Rabanastre and head to the Sandsea to speak to Balthier, the quickest way to get to the Sandsea is to take the stairs in the east of the north sprawl, these stairs will bring you out with the sandsea to your right, head up to it for a cutscene with Basch an dthen head inside and walk up the stairs to talk to Balthier, another cutscene will happen then Fran and Balthier will rejoin your Party

Now you have your full party, it is the best time to sell your loot. We advise waiting to buy equipment until you reach Bujherba the sky city Balthier told you about. Once you have finished, head to the Areodrome at the West Gate you can either walk or use the moogling station.

Once inside talk to Balthier and pick the "I'm ready" option. He will tell you that "you may not see Rabanastre for a while" and "there'll be no looking back.", If you want to accept the sidequests below pick the "Let me check one more thing..." option. If not pick the "I'm Really Ready" option.

Sidequests

There are two Sidequests you can start now, but will not able to finish them until later on in the game.

these quests are;

• Ann and her sisters
• Conversations with Ktjn

There are also 3 bills that you are able to accept

the bills are;

• Waterway Hauntings
• Little Love on the Big Plains*
• The Cry of It's Power*

*These are Priority Marks that you have to speak to Montblanct to obtain the bill, These marks are alot harder than normal marks.
