Walkthrough Explanation


This walkthrough details the Story Mode aspect of Ring of Fates. The Free Mode version of Multiplay follows the same dungeons and locations in the same order. However, strategy is written here specifically for the solo Story Mode.

We have divided the game by dungeons. Any action not part of a dungeon is included in the dungeon section that immediately follows that action (ie: Hometown - Dungeon - Dungeon End Cutscene).

RoF uses various locks for gates and doors. Often they require the use of magic or magicite to open them. Globes require you to cast a specific spell on them. Urns require you to place a specific type of magicite ball in them. They are color coded in the walkthrough as follows: Fire/Red, Thunder/Yellow, Blizzard/Blue, Cure/Green, Clear, and Raise/Orange.
