Missions

Make no mistake, even though you can progress the story of Crisis Core without doing many of them, Missions are the bread and butter of the game. They are your best (and almost only) reliable way of levelling up Zack and getting much needed items and materia. That said - here's how FFExodus is going to get you through all THREE HUNDRED missions of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

How To Use This Section

The game neatly divides missions into 10 categories with 4-6 sub-categories comprised of 6 missions each. We've used those same divisions for this missions walkthrough. To find the mission you're looking for first select from the categories in the left column. This will bring up a page for that category.

At the top of each category page you'll find a clickable table that shows all the missions for the selected category. Missions have also been numbered for easier reference. Here's an example: Your first mission is in the first category (1), in the first sub-category (1), and is the first mission in the sub-category(1). Thus to find strategy for "Shinra's Basic Training" it would be numbered 1.1.1. (The names of the missions are listed next to their number).

The table includes the sub-category, number, and name of each mission. It also includes which chapters the mission is available in, the suggested level, a time estimate for completion, and your reward.

You should note that the game ranks mission difficulty based on your current level. If a mission is "Normal" then it is intended for your current level. Anything 1-2 levels above your level is usually "Hard". Anything higher than that is ranked "Very Hard". You should also note that the most difficult missions will always be ranked "Very Hard" even if you are level 99.

We have made a completion-time estimate for each mission so you have an idea of how long you'll need to finish the mission. These times assume you are playing a "Normal" to "Hard" mission and allow for acquisition of all chests and defeating the boss. Times do not account for optional levelling you choose to do.

What Do I Get Out Of This?

Missions directly affect how difficult the rest of the gameplay goes. If you complete a lot of missions Zack will be stronger and have an easier time dealing with the story scenarios. Plus you'll get better items and materia than you'll get in the main story scenarios. The more difficult missions towards the end yield some very profitable rewards. If you've got it in you to complete all THREE HUNDRED missions you will get two very important things: The Heike Soul accessory (arguably the best in the game) and Bragging Rights.

Under Construction

PLEASE NOTE: This section is currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION! We will be frequently posting new information to this section as it is created. Until an entire category's missions are completed there will be a "Done" section added for each mission at the end of each category table. A "*" indicates strategy is available, whereas "N/A" indicates that mission has yet to be added. We appreciate your patience and patronage.
