Scene: Chapter 2

Location: Bevelle

Dear Diary,

Infiltrating New Yevon was no simple stroll since we snubbed them before about that Awesome sphere. The guards kept attacking us every time they saw us. Oh well. Inside the temple I took the corridor on the right to stand on a glyph and activate an entrance. That entrance was to the corridor on the left from the main room. Once I climbed up the ledge and leaped into the newly opened room, I found two pedestals with lifts floating above them. I touched the southern one and it changed the direction the lift in the main entry of the temple went. Instead of going to the second floor like it had been before, now it went to the Trials. After proceeding onto the next area, Barkeep showed up to lend a hand before I progressed further into the large hole in the Chamber of the Fayth. We found ourselves in an underground dungeon.

After talking a bit with the group I headed north and slid down a long chain to a platform below. At the bottom I found a set of 6 towers.
Note: These towers can be manipulated in order to gain access to a Ribbon. Detailed solution located in mini-games.

To continue forward, I had to activate the 3 blue towers. The only way I could tell which were blue and which were red was by the two spokes in front of each tower. Some had a slight bit of light to them (the blue) while others had no light. The very first tower I came to upon landing was a blue one and every other one after that was blue. All I needed to do was walk up to each tower and face the fiend that appeared.

As a result of activating the 3 blue towers I was accosted by a Precepts Guard.

It is very important to keep a character healing the party. Between drains and bio and demi life gets depleted quickly. Holy based attacks are best if available.

Continuing forward through a lot of climbing and wandering I finally came to a fork in the road. Taking a left I stepped on the center glyph to float across a small expanse and followed till I reached a dead end with a Downtrodder garment grid in a chest. Back the other way at the fork I stepped on both pillars to cross a newly formed bridge to progress forward. I eventually came to a huge room where Ormi, Logos, and Leblanc joined us.
Note: Bloodlust and Wring accessories can be attained by solving this room. Tips and explanation are in mini-games.

I eventually came to a dead end that had three lifts. By manipulating these lifts, I found the Dark Knight dressphere.
This is how I did it:
First, I took the right lift to get to a new area. I activated the two pillars that were there to gain access to a lift at the north section of this location--but I didn't take that one yet. Instead I went south and jumped down into the mist. I then was back at the place with the three lifts, but one was missing this time. Now, I took the center lift to a different area. All I could do here was activate a glyph and then return. Once back, I took the lift on the left and once again found myself in the area where I had freed the lift earlier--but once again not taking that one yet. Instead, I took the lift to the right to return once more to the 3 lifts area and once again there were only 2 lifts. Taking the center one once more I again find just a glyph to activate and return.
Finished manipulating, I take the lift on the right and in that area finally take that lift to the north I had freed up before. This took me to a location with a save sphere and a newly formed step bridge to a chest with the Dark knight dresssphere in it.

The other path parallel with it took me straight into a boss fight with Baralai, though. And then after him was... Bahamut. What's going on??

Baralai

Speed is the real key to this battle. Baralai is fast and powerful so healing and speed are what will keep the party in the game. A Songstress is not recommended because he'll target her with stops and damage.

Bahamut
