Press A to enter. Inside you'll talk to the old man again and he'll run off. Now you'll be free to roam. The box on the lower right is inaccessible until you get something to chop down trees.

Now go up and right to meet a little gray bearded man. Jump over him and walk the boulder up once. He'll send you to Foresta and give you a Tree Wither

Before leaving the forest go up and left, pushing the boulder, to get a chest with 3 Cure Potions. Then go right to leave.
