Alien Encounter

The Alien Encounter sidequest is available once you obtain the Ragnarok in Disc 3 and is never unavailable. Bring lots of patience to this sidequest because it may or may not take awhile for the different sitings to occur even if you're in the right area.

There are four key locations to encountering aliens before you have to fight it. If you want to speed up your search you can equip Diablos' Enc-none ability to avoid random battles.

Location #1Winhill BluffsSpaceship toting a cow
Location #2Mandy Beach, south of Timberspaceship stealing Moa Head Statue
Location #3Kashkabald Desert (island east of Centra Ruins)Spaceship carrying off pyramid
Location #4East of Trabia Garden (Trabia Heath Peninsula)symbol in the sky

Now to fight the spaceship you must travel to the plateau north of Grandidi Forest's Chocobo forest. For defeating it you'll recieve an Aegis Amulet.

To finsh this sidequest and meet the grand Pupu alien himself you'll need 5 elixirs and someone using the Item command. You'll find him where Balamb Garden was originally located on the Alcauld Plains. Giving him 5 elixirs earns you the Pupu Card and is the only way to earn this rare card in the game. If you choose to fight Pupu instead of feed him then you can earn an Accelerator.
