Minigames

In KHII Atlantica is an optional world. There is still a plotline to follow, but instead of battles, the story is progressed by a series of games. In order to help Sebastion with Ariel, Sora participates in a series of musicals.

Mission Requirements for full ending:
Clear the "Swim This Way" mini-game again
Clear the "Part of Your World" mini-game again
Clear the "Under the Sea" mini-game again
Clear the "Ursula's Revenge" mini-game again
Clear the "A New Day is Dawning" mini-game again

Mini-games

| Swim This Way | Part of Your World | Under the Sea | Ursula's Revenge| A New Day is Dawning |

Swim This Way

All the Atlantica Minigames build off of this first minigame. During a song and dance number in the ocean a colored gauge appears. When the bar swirls within the yellow at the end of the gauge, press the X button. Correctly timed execution results in an "excellent". Misses cause a "bad" and inbetween is "good". In "Swim this Way", the object is to end up with 3 or more gold notes at the top left of the screen. "Excellent"s add notes, "good"s do nothing, and "bad"s result in the loss of a note.

Before being able to participate in the next musical, Sora must obtain Magnet Element. This is obtained by defeating Oogie Boogie in Halloween town.

Part of Your World

The goal of this musical is to score "excellent"s on 5 gauges in a row. As an added challenge the gauges will alternate between the X button and the triangle.

Before being able to participate in the next musical, Sora must have his Drive Gauge up to Level 5. It should reach this once you re-enter Hollow Bastion after having beaten the Hostile Program in Space Paranoids.

Under the Sea

Instead of using the X or triangle buttons, this minigame requires pressing the square button at the appropriate time. The catch is that this time there will be an image in the center of the gauge. If the image is Sebastian, then don't press anything. If it is Ariel then at the correct time push the square.

Before being able to participate in the next musical, Sora must have the Magnera magic. The Magnera magic is a reward for defeating the Grim Reaper a second time in Port Royal.

Ursula's Revenge

This musical plays similarly to its predecessors. One variance is that instead of just casually dancing, by correctly timing the gauges damage is inflicted upon Ursula's HP. The object is to defeat her before the end of the song. Another difference is that some gauges will appear with a purple circle. When this happen mash the X button continuously inflicting incessant damage.
For defeating Ursula Sora is awarded the Mysterious Abyss Keyblade.

Before being able to participate in the next musical, Sora must learn Thundaga magic. Thundaga is the reward for defeating Groundshaker in the Pride Lands.

A New Day is Dawning

For the grand finale, all the previous gauges have been included in this last musical. Be prepared for the X, triangle, Ariel and Sebastian square, and the purple circled X gauge. The object is to collect atleast 30,000 points.
