Scene: Chapter 1
Location: Mushroom Rock Road
Dear Diary,
When we showed up at M.R.R. we spotted Logos and Ormi. I wonder what could have brought them here? I’m afraid we never really found out, but they did prove useful later on. Anyway, we went and spoke with Yaibal and ended up running the gauntlet. Before heading in for that, though, I decided to look around a bit and it paid off! The next left path had a lift that took me up a floor. Behind a statue at the top there was a chest with 1000 gil.
Feeling proud of myself, I wandered back to talk to Clasko. I sure wish I could help him out some time... He definitely is needing to find a more suiting career. Anyway, I entered the gauntlet and took it easy. I found that whenever the air grew dark if I moved I’d run into a lot more battles and sometimes the fiend was a tonberry! You wouldn’t believe how quickly I’d take off running every time those things showed up. Facing them could really have put an end to my adventuring.
Well, walking while it was bright out, I followed the road until I saw Logos and Ormi dart off down a new path. We decided to follow them and right at the bottom of the path they leapt down to there was a turbo ether in the upper left corner. As I continued to follow them, I passed through a narrow stretch and found a chest on the right with a phoenix down. There was another box shortly after on the left of the path with a hi-potion.
Just a little ways further, I found a save sphere.
Taking the north path above the save sphere brought us smack dab crashing into Logos and Ormi while they were messing with some door. They certainly bungled their escaping us and dropped a sphere: Crimson Sphere 9. We were all too happy to take it off their hands. I tried to mess with the door, but it was beyond me on how to open it. Maroda came and we had a somewhat tangled chat. Why does he not answer my questions about Isaaru???
Moving on, R.P. and I headed back to the main road where we had veered off to track Leblanc’s goons. As rewarding as the distraction turned out to be, we still had a lift to get to.
For completing the mission, I scored a glass buckle and the Heart of Flame garment grid.
I wandered again and found at the bottom of the screen the accessory: favorite outfit. I wonder what it does? Anyway, up the final lift I finally reached the Youth League Head Quarters. I slipped on the cliff on the right and stumbled upon a chest with the Restless Sleep garment grid in it. Oh, and don’t ask me what it was doing there, I have no idea. It’s beyond me where half of this stuff I find comes from. Some really rich dude must be going around putting these chests all over the world for kicks or something.
Back at the HQ, I talked with Lucil twice and found some important information. But what really TRULY shocked me was the fact that when I was done talking with Lucil and she kept turning me away, who do you think I’d find just a sittin’ on the ground, but none other than Maechen! After a very VERY long oratorial and a handshake, it was back down the Mushroom Rock Road. I decided to go back for Clasko.
I found him on a ledge near the Mi’ihen entrance when I finally got back to the beginning. I am not too sure what I’m getting myself into, but he’s onboard with us now.
Back aboard the ship later that day, I watched the Crimson Report 1 and checked up on Clasko who had moved into the Cabin sleeping area. Quite a full ship and quite a full day, I’m beat. Night!
