Bevelle Underground MinigamesObtaining RibbonOne of the first puzzles to solve in the Underground is a matter of manipulating platforms. This is really worth it because at the bottom in a chest is a Ribbon. There are 6 towers: 3 red and 3 blue. They are arranged in a mismatched fashion so from right to left from the first tower they will be: blue, red, blue, red, blue, red -- then you're back to the first tower which is blue. Pay very close attention to the very first tower you come to. This one will be necessary for manipulating the 3 red tower platforms. There are 6 platforms (one for each tower) to move around and luckily 3 do not need to be positioned since they will automatically line up. These platforms that set automatically are from the 3 blue towers. After activating all 3 Blue towers you'll have to face the Precepts Guard.
It is very important to keep a character healing the party. Between drains and bio and demi life gets depleted quickly. Holy based attacks are best if available. Next comes activating and maneuvering each of the red towers and their corresponding platforms. First, go to a red tower and activate it. This will raise a platform and you will see what level it is at. They will always start from right below the first blue tower. To move the platform to the right position, go to the first blue tower you identified from before and activate it. This will move the platform once. Depending on which level the platform is on determines where it should be located. The 6 platforms will be in a continuous diagnol downward when you are finished, so line the platform up according to its level and where it would be in the diagnol. After touching the first blue tower enough times to get it in the right position, head on to the next red tower to activate and repeat the process for all three. Once all 3 of the red towers are activated, you will have to face the Georapella.
Georapella is weak vs. Holy. Georapella does use level 3 Magic spells so anything that weakens Magic effectiveness against your party would be useful. After finishing the path downward, enter the opened door at the bottom and you should find a lone chest with Ribbon. Obtaining Bloodlust and Wring Accessories |
